    Job Description:

    We are seeking qualified Project Managers to join our team in Bellevue.  Project Managers work as part of a dynamic communications consulting/market research team conducting custom primary research projects.  This team primarily works within the technology sector where PSB is the leading research provider to Microsoft, and a strategic research provider to Intel, Amazon and more.  

    In particular, the Project Manager will be expected to:

    • Work closely with a team of research and analysis specialists to design, implement, and manage all phases of market research and strategic communications projects
    • Provide project direction, design and analysis
    • Develop a deep understanding of specific client business issues and conduct deep analysis of research results to help drive strategy and business planning
    • Partner with clients to ensure that our research meets their needs
    • Supervise a team of Analysts


    Qualifications:

    Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 3-7 years’ experience in public relations, market research, political campaigns or a related position in the communications industry. Other attributes of the successful candidate include:

    •  Strategic thinker, project manager, and strong desire and ability to lead teams 
    • Solid communication, writing and presentation skills; commitment to quality and creativity
    • Superior analytical capabilities; detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers
    • Interest and ability to translate numbers into actionable recommendations for clients
    • Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage full life-cycle of projects
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with statistical software (specifically SPSS) is preferable but not required

    Project Manager - Consumer Brand Research

    Location: Seattle, WA

    Overview

    The role of a Research Project Manager is to oversee the set up and management of qualitative and quantitative research projects to ensure successful completion within H&P Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This will require working closely with research teams, clients, field partners, facilities, data management centers, and other external suppliers/partners. You will be expected to contribute to the company’s operational processes by providing proactive ideas and plans about improving the efficiency of the project management function and by supporting operational initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Set-up and manage projects spanning from ad-hoc to tracking studies across a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
    • Act as an expert to support researchers and other project management team members for methodology, sampling and supplier selection in markets
    • Cover full project management, including not just the research team and the suppliers, but also liaising professionally with clients and taking a key role in status meetings and providing updates on fieldwork, timelines, deliverables, etc.
    • Provide full costs and timings for new business proposals or existing projects
    • Drive adherence to H&P Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) within the research teams
    • Identify further areas for efficiency and profitability of projects
    • Maintain and update databases of recommended field partners and contribute to managing suppliers’ best practice
    • Provide expertise and proactive guidance as to how to be as operationally efficient as possible
    • Mentor, develop and train more junior members of staff on the research teams
    • Support the wider operations and research teams with any training and implementing of operational initiatives


    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in the domain of project management in a market research environment, including project setup, field management, and schedule management
    • Experience with multiple methodologies, including online and in-person focus groups, in-depth interviews, and quantitative surveys
    • Excellent knowledge of multiple types of studies, including concept testing, creative development, pre-testing, and continuous tracking
    • Excellent project management skills, managing the end-to-end project life cycle with multi-market and complex studies
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while sticking to deadlines and achieving a high quality output
    • Ability to work effectively across all levels including senior leadership
    • Experience in managing external suppliers
    • Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence others within areas of responsibility
    • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and time management
    • Dedicated to quality and responsiveness with a focus on processes and efficiency
    • Ability to champion methodological choices with clients and teammates and identify potential pitfalls in clients’ briefs/requests
    • Has a good working knowledge of approaches to brand and communications research, including new products/techniques
    • Has a presence in the office; looks for ways to interact with other teams and departments within H&P

    Marketing Analyst (Contract)

    Bluehawk Consulting is seeking a Marketing Analyst to deliver customer marketing analysis and data synthesis support to a retail digital Voice of Customer team. Perform on-going and ad-hoc reporting to enable integration of VOC data into organizational decision making, and create cycle of continuous learning across VOC measurement program elements.  Assist in creating and/or representing VOC program dashboards and insights to stakeholder teams, both in meeting settings and via email.

    Skills

    • ·       Very strong analytical and problem definition / solution skills measuring and evaluating points across the customer experience journey.  Experience in at least two of the following analytical areas: 
    • o   Marketing analysis:  A/B testing, conversion funnel analysis, site analytics, basket size, message testing
    • o   Merchandising:  product sell through, attach rate, margin analysis
    • o   Industry:  consumer retail industry competitive analysis using secondary data to enrich customer sales or customer behavioral data
    • ·       Data analysis and insight development using Primary and Secondary Research data
    • o   Minimum of one-year experience analyzing quantitative respondent-level survey data.  A working knowledge of marketing research questionnaire design and sample selection is required.  Knowledge of NPS is a plus
    • o   Ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of qualitative survey comments (verbatims) into themes.  Familiarity with machine learning tools and/or text analytics a plus.
    • ·       Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI 
    • ·       Ability to prioritize and manage assignments to meet deadlines and establish solid relationships.
